NATURAL EXPLORATION, JUNE 8

Santa Rosa: Youth ages 7 to ?13 explore redwood forest flora during a 2-mile hike with a park ranger, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park, 5297 Sonoma Mountain Road. VOLUNTEER WORKDAY, JUNE 9

Santa Rosa: Help with critical post-fire restoration work at Pepperwood Preserve, 2130 Pepperwood Preserve Road. Refreshments at 8:30 a.m., work 9 a.m. to noon, then enjoy a lunch provided by Pepperwood Preserve. Wear sturdy boots, bring a hat and a water bottle. Tools and gloves provided. INCARNATION 100, JUNE 9

Sonoma County: Register for the Incarnation ?100 bicycle ride on June 9 to raise funds for homeless services. 30-, 45-, 100-mile and 100K rides in west and north county and the Russian River Valley. Gourmet meal and live music party after the event. Visit incarnation100.org for information.

GARDEN WALK, JUNE 9

SUGAR SHUTTLE, JUNE 9, 10

Glen Ellen - Santa Rosa: Hike between North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve at 5297 Sonoma Mountain Road in Santa Rosa and Jack London State Historic Park. ?2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen or vice versa. Leave your vehicle at one park, take the Sugar Shuttle to the other, then hike back to your vehicle. Shuttles leave North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park every hour between ?8 and 11 a.m. and leave Jack London State Historic every hour between ?8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Advanced registration is required with a $10 donation.
