100-unit affordable housing project under review in Sonoma

A proposal for a 100-unit affordable housing project in Fetter Hot Springs will be reviewed Wednesday by the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission.

The proposal of the Valletti Family Trust and Mid Pen Housing also includes 6,500 square feet of retail space. Forty of the affordable housing rental units would be reserved for senior citizens. The other 60 apartments are intended for families.

Mid Pen Housing is a nonprofit housing developer based in Foster City. The Fetter Hot Springs project, on Highway 12, would be the company's first in Sonoma County.

The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Community Meeting Room, 177 First Street West.
