After heavy rains this week in Sonoma County, there will be a 30 percent chance of rain through Tuesday, but the possibility of sunny skies by Friday.
In the 24 hours ending at 8:30 Saturday morning, .40 of an inch of rain had been recorded in the Santa Rosa area, including .05 inches overnight.
Public safety agencies Saturday morning reported no serious weather-related incidents other than typical fender-benders and the occasional tree limb down. A car struck a power pole Saturday morning on Old Redwood Highway in Cotati, but it was unknown if it was weather-related.
On Friday, the second round of a two-part storm that first hit the area on Wednesday toppled trees, slickened roads and caused thousands of customers to lose power.
Two large eucalyptus trees fell into homes early Friday, one in Penngrove and another in Santa Rosa. No one was hurt in either incident.
According to PG&E, there were no power outages remaining as of Saturday morning.
Today's forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly in the morning. Later it should be mostly cloudy with a high near 63.
Tonight there is a slight chance of showers between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., followed by mostly cloudy skies and a low of 47.
Sunday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers after 10 a.m., followed by partly sunny skies and a high near 61.
