Bucher Vineyard, 2013 Ros?of Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, 14.1 percent alcohol, $18. 4 stars. A dry ros?with tangy notes of pomegranate and cranberry, with a hint of wild strawberry in the mix. It also has a touch of mineral, with a crisp finish. A very nice expression of ros?

Carol Shelton's "Wild Thing," 2013 Rendezvous Ros? Mendocino County, 13 percent, $15. 3 1/2 stars, A ros?with personality. Aromas and flavors of watermelon, cranberry and a refreshing twist of grapefruit. Dry, crisp and refreshing.
River Road, 2013 Reserve Ros?of Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, 12.5 percent, $15. 3 1/2 stars. Bright and lively, with aromas and flavors of raspberry, strawberry and blood orange. Crisp finish.
Pedroncelli, Dry Ros?of Zinfandel, 2013 Dry Creek Valley, 13.2 percent, $12. 3 1/2 stars. A fruit-forward ros?but a balanced one. Aromas and flavors of cherry, strawberry and vanilla. A good dose of acidity keeps it nice and crisp.
Charles Heintz Vineyards, 2013 Ros?of Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, 13.5 percent, $19. 3 1/2 stars. This is a tasty ros?with notes of rhubarb, cherry and vanilla. It has good acidity and a refreshingly crisp finish.
