Man arrested in Hotel Petaluma crash

A Petaluma man suspected of drunken driving was arrested early Thursday morning after he crashed into the front of the downtown Hotel Petaluma, police said.

Jason Hartnett, 29, was uninjured by the 2:43 a.m. crash at Washington and Kentucky streets, authorities said.

The impact damaged a window to the hotel office, which was closed, police said.

Hartnett booked into the Sonoma County Jail, where he was being held with bail of $5,000, jail personnel said.
