Airplane noise

EDITOR: I find it a great commentary on our society that the sequestration cuts have been hurting large segments of our society, such as the elderly, the disabled, the young and the impoverished, yet nothing is done. When people were inconvenienced on their airplane trips, however, enough noise was made that Congress actually did something to help them.

It is too bad that the parts of our country that are hurting the most have the smallest voice and will not be heard. Perhaps if we all made as much noise as the airlines, something would be done to help those who are in desperate need. I doubt it, but I hope I can be proven wrong.
