Suspect arrested in 170 Santa Rosa graffiti-tagging incidents

Santa Rosa police arrested a man suspected of around 170 acts of vandalism Tuesday, Santa Rosa police officials said in a news release.

Santa Rosa resident Giovanni Deshea Small, 21, is suspected of graffiti tagging numerous locations around the city over the past 18 months, police said.

Search warrants issued in both Rincon Valley and southwest Santa Rosa led to Small's arrest, police said. Police believe the arrest concludes the investigation into the identity of the graffiti tagger called "Kouch."

The total vandalism damage is estimated in an excess of $6,000 to both public and private property.

Small was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on the charge of felony vandalism, police said.

Police officials said no additional information on the case was available Tuesday night.
