Going nuclear

EDITOR: Nuclear power may be the solution to our economic problems and may be one of the only things the president said that makes sense. We can produce power at pennies on the dollar and still charge the dollar to pay off the enormous debt our country has built up. After the debt is paid, we can take on lofty goals such as health care. Most people would go for it if someone could explain how to pay for it.

If you look into it, you will find anything that produces energy emits radiation, including our own bodies. The pollutants we are putting in our air burning coal and other fossil fuels far outweigh the damage from nuclear power.

With the power we could produce, the hydrogen car could become reality and would be a boon to our auto industry and make us a world leader in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It would be a boon to our economy, putting people to work from broom pushers to engineers and give us a chance to make our dollar strong again.

If you look, you will see that all the so-called green nations are using nuclear power, and, by the way, we designed it.
