Howarth Park parking fees back on the table

Santa Rosa on Tuesday will consider charging people to park at Howarth Park.

The proposed fees are $2 for two hours, $5 for a day and $75 for a season pass.

The fees and expected fines are expected to generate $520,000 annually, helping to preserve popular programs, like keeping the city's two pools open. If approved, kiosks like the ones downtown are expected to be installed and operating by September.
