A civil demonstration

EDITOR: After seeing New York and Oakland and other cities cruelly handle the peaceful protests of the Occupy movement, I called the mayor's office in New York. I actually got a real person to speak with. I told her how proud I was to live in Santa Rosa where a civil City Council and the civil protesters were able to work out a compromise so that the voice of those of us who represent the 99 percent could be heard with dignity. Thank you, Santa Rosa.
