Rabobank opens Santa Rosa branch

Rabobank opened a branch in Santa Rosa on Monday, its second location in Sonoma County.

The branch, located at 90 South E Street, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

"Opening a branch here will allow us to provide a full range of personal and business banking services and become more involved in the community," Dennis Pedisich, regional president, said in a statement.

Ron La Bruzzo, a veteran banker who previously managed Santa Rosa branches for Great Western Bank, Washington Mutual and Chase, will oversee the new Rabobank branch.

Rabobank has been seeking to expand in Northern California's Wine Country, where it acquired Napa Community Bank in May 2010 and opened a Sonoma branch in January 2011. It has built a Wine Country lending portfolio valued at more than $500 million, primarily to wineries and others in the food and agribusiness industry.
