Drivers should be prepared for detours on some Santa Rosa roads Sunday morning because of the Santa Rosa Marathon.

The race starts at 6 a.m., the half-marathon at 7 a.m. and a 5k race at 8 a.m.

Parking is restricted on several downtown streets near Juilliard Park, where the race begins and ends, between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. A post-race festival starts at 8 a.m.

The marathon course takes runners out the Santa Rosa Creek Trail, loops around northwest Santa Rosa including a visit to DeLoach Vineyard & Winery on Olivet Road, and returns via the creek trail and Prince Memorial Greenway to downtown.
