Body found at Shollenberger Park in Petaluma
A body was discovered Monday afternoon in Shollenberger Park, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
A call reporting the body came in shortly before 3 p.m., Sgt. Ed Crosby said in a statement. It was found not far from a walking trail in underbrush in an area that appeared to be set up as a small encampment, he said.
There did not appear to be any signs of foul play. Identification was pending an autopsy by the coroner’s office and notification of relatives, he said.
