Three people were killed in a three-car crash on Highway 101 south of Willits on Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred about 12:40 p.m. near Holland Lane when a southbound Toyota Camry driven by a 75-year-old Sebastopol man crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Toyota Prius driven by an 89-year-old woman, the CHP said. Both drivers, as well as a 62-year-old man riding in the Camry, were killed. The identities of those killed in the crash were not released pending notification of family members.

An Acura driven by Stephen Delatorre, 21, of Kelseyville rear-ended the Prius, but Delatorre was uninjured, the CHP said.

All of the people involved in the wreck were wearing seat belts, and the vehicles’ air bags deployed, the CHP said. The investigation into the crash is continuing, they said.

Traffic was routed onto Holland Lane to bypass the crash site for several hours.
