One injured in Petaluma head-on crash

Lack of visibility may be to blame for the early Monday tangle.|

Sun in the eyes of one driver and frost on the windshield of another may have played a role in a head-on collision early Monday in west Petaluma.

The two vehicles collided just after 7 a.m. on McBrown Road at King Road, according to the CHP.

One driver had minor injuries and was taken to a hospital, a Redcom emergency dispatcher said.

Rancho Adobe firefighters, a Petaluma fire ambulance and CHP officers responded.

The impact left the two vehicles too damaged to drive and tow trucks were also responding.

Initial reports indicated the drivers complained of visibility. The crash was under investigation.
