Three injured in Gualala crash

Three people were injured when a car plunged over an embankment in Gualala Tuesday night, according to authorities.|

Three people were injured, two critically, in a single-car crash Tuesday night in Gualala, dispatchers said.

The crash was reported about 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Pacific Woods Road and Tiger Tail Trail, the dispatchers said.

A car carrying three people had gone over an embankment.

Two of the occupants were flown by helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. They were in critical condition.

A third person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
