Santa Rosa DMV customers were unable to process driver’s license and registration requests Monday after a computer glitch hampered some agency offices around the state.

Problems at the Corby Avenue facility surfaced mid-morning and were corrected by 2 p.m., spokesman Jaime Garza said.

People with appointments were given the choice of rescheduling or waiting for the problems to be fixed, Garza said.

Recently, appointments were being scheduled up to two weeks out.

The office itself remained open throughout the day for other matters not involving licenses and registration, he said.

The exact number of DMV offices affected by the glitch was not known, Garza said.
