POLICE IDENTIFY MAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT

A pedestrian killed in Santa Rosa while trying to cross Bennett Valley Road near Farmers Lane on Saturday night has been identified as 38-year-old Kevin Miles Cloud.|

A pedestrian killed in Santa Rosa while trying to cross Bennett Valley Road

near Farmers Lane on Saturday night has been identified as 38-year-old Kevin

Miles Cloud.

Cloud had been a transient in Santa Rosa for several years, Sonoma County

Coroner's Detective Jim Cheney said.

Police are seeking witnesses to the 6 p.m. accident.

Cloud apparently walked in front of a motorist who was eastbound on Bennett

Valley Road. The driver couldn't stop.
