WRIGHTWOOD - About three dozen skiers and snowboarders were stuck on a chairlift for more than an hour during a power outage at Southern California's Mountain High resort.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department says several riders called 911 when the lifts suddenly stopped around 8:45 p.m. Monday.

Officials say emergency crews responded but nobody needed medical attention.

The mountain eventually got its backup generator online and the lifts started moving again around 10:15 p.m.

The fire department says a downed power line was found just east of the resort.
