A Clearlake couple remained in jail Monday on $500,000 bail each after their arrest Friday on suspicion of possessing various drugs for sale, along with two loaded handguns.

Thomas Mark Nordahl, 32, and Candace Marie Conzet, 29, were arrested Monday after Lake County Sheriff's detectives and Clearlake Police narcotics officers obtained a warrant and searched the couple's home in the 5500 block of Old Highway 53 in Clearlake.

The search turned up approximately ¼ pound of methamphetamine, ½ ounce of heroin, 4 ½ pounds of processed marijuana, ¼ pound of marijuana concentrate, two loaded handguns and body armor, according to a press release.

The couple weren't home during the search but were arrested later in front of a residence on Fresno Street. The charges against Nordahl included being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
