A Healdsburg area man had just stepped out of the shower last Wednesday afternoon when he was confronted at gunpoint by three men, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday.

One suspect, described as a 6-foot-tall black man in his 20s with dreadlocks, pulled out a small semiautomatic pistol and demanded money and marijuana before binding the 29-year-old man’s feet and hands with zip ties, deputies said. The two other suspects, described as Latinos in their mid-20s and about 5 feet 7 inches, ransacked the victim’s home in the 15000 block of Norton Road, deputies said.

The victim eventually freed himself and discovered the suspects had taken his laptop, cellphone, a small amount of processed marijuana and some marijuana plants from his backyard, deputies said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Sonoma County Sheriff’s detectives at 707-565-2185.
