Caltrans closing section of Highway 37 all weekend

A Caltrans maintenance project will close Highway 37 for the entire weekend starting at 10 p.m. Friday.

The roadway will be closed between Highway 121 south of Sonoma and Highway 29 in Vallejo. It is expected to reopen Monday at 5 a.m.

The same section of Highway 37 also will close next weekend from Friday night to Monday morning. Additional nighttime closures are scheduled for the week of Sept. 29.; the highway will be closed each night that week from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During the closure, motorists should detour onto Highway 121, Highway 12 and Highway 29.
