SANTA ROSA: Shone Farm opens stand near SRJC
The Santa Rosa Junior College Farm Stand has opened at the corner of Mendocino and Carr avenues, providing products grown at Shone Farm, including vegetables, fruit, olive oil and grass-fed beef, along with plants from the SRJC horticulture department.
The farm stand is open from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, whether the college is in session or not.
It also will serve as the farm's newest location to distribute weekly Community Supported Agriculture boxes for Shone Farm, a 365-acre ranch west of Santa Rosa with vineyards, pasture land and a sustainable agriculture garden.
