The best way to pamper papa on Father’s Day is to uncork something impressive AND release him from all responsibilities for a full 24 hours. Let the to-do list go undone. Free time, coupled with striking wine, is an irresistible gift. Enjoy the day with our lineup.

Bedrock Wine Co., 2014 Old Vine Zinfandel, $29. A zin that’s complex, with layered flavors of currant, plum, smoke and cracked black pepper. Zesty finish. Bright acidity. Knockout.

Balletto, 2016 Rose of Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, 13.4%, $18. This rose is knockout because of its incredible quench. What makes it a standout is its great minerality coupled with layered, high-toned fruit. It has notes of watermelon, strawberry and mineral. This rose, no doubt, will turn heads.

Gloria Ferrer, 2013 Carneros, Sonoma Pinot Noir, 13.5%, $29. A supple pinot with bright red fruit, spice and crisp acidity. Great mouth-feel. A touch earthy.

Swanson Vineyards, 2016 San Benito Pinot Grigio, 13.4%, $21. An impressive pinot grigio with a range of flavors – pear, lemon zest and jasmine. What makes it a standout is its bright acidity and great balance. Lovely.

Miner Family Winery, 2016 Napa Valley Sauvingon Blanc, 13.6%, $22. This is a bright sauvignon blanc with gorgeous stone fruit, melon and mineral. Lively, up front fruit. Finishes crisp. Balanced. Smart.
