COOL WEATHER HIKE, JAN. 23

Glen Ellen: Register by Friday for the Sonoma Ecology Center's 5- to 6-mile strenuous cool weather hike, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Calabazas Creek Open Space Preserve. GUIDED NATURE WALK, JAN.30

Glen Ellen: Explore the 535-acre Bouverie Preserve at 13935 Highway 12 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Jan. 30 during a guided nature walk through mixed evergreen forest, oak woodland and rugged chaparral. RAPTOR IDENTIFICATION CLASS, JAN. 30
