In the days leading up to Feb. 14, businesses in the area are offering all sorts of activities to help locals enjoy themselves or craft the perfect gift. And on Valentine’s Day itself, there is no shortage of options for a romantic dinner.

Caviar Tasting at Jordan Vineyard & Winery: Experience Caviar Tasting with a view at the Vista Point pavilion. Couples will be seated at private tables for the tasting, which features the Jordan Chef’s Reserve Caviar. Guests will also enjoy buckwheat blini and caviar accouterments, as well as tastings of chardonnay and Champagne. Valentine’s Day Pizza Class and Meal at Psychic Pie: Head over to Psychic Pie in Sebastopol for its first ever pizza class. Participants will learn how to shape, top and fire their own naturally leavened Roman-style pizza. Two drinks are included, and appetizers, salads and dessert will be served during the class (in addition to the pizza cooked by each participant). Valentine’s Day Supper at Marla: Marla, a Santa Rosa craft bakery, is teaming up with Dan Marioni of Marioni Wines to present a five-course Valentine’s supper. Valentine’s Dinner at Carneros Resort: The FARM restaurant is hosting dinners for two, featuring a seasonally inspired five-course tasting menu complemented by cocktails and local wine pairings. Valentine’s Dinner at Dawn Ranch: Guerneville’s The Lodge at Dawn Ranch is hosting a special dinner for Valentine’s Day. The dinner, an eight-course tasting menu, celebrates local ingredients and reflects the chefs’ professional journey through many different parts of the world.
