An annual fair focused on wildfire prevention and mitigation will be taking place for the third time at the Napa Valley Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The fair, open to the public and free to attend, is being hosted by the Napa Valley Grapegrowers, Napa Valley Vintners, Cal Fire and Napa Firewise.

When facing community-wide challenges like wildfire risks, we are strongest when we all work together,” said Molly Moran Wialliams, Industry and Community Relations Director for the Napa Valley Grapegrowers, in the release. “This fair is about increasing awareness of services and access to resources that help prevent fires and keep us all safer during fire events.”

The press release notes that attendees will be able to receive information from exhibitors on “fire preparedness, creating defensible space, innovative fire-resistant products, non-profit and county services, activities for kids, and more.”

The news release also notes that coffee by Ohm Coffee will be available to purchase in the morning, and Tacos El Muchacho Alegre will have tacos available for purchase in the afternoon.

“Education is the first line of defense when building fire resilient communities,” said Erick Hernandez, spokesperson for Cal Fire/ Napa County Fire, in the press release. “And being able to bring local government and industry experts to provide education and services is instrumental.
