Free Ballet at Image Dance Studio

Image Dance Studio in Napa will host free ballet classes Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 16 and 17. On Monday, a beginning ballet class will be offered for ages 7-10 from 3:45-4:30 p.m. and a little ballet class for ages 3-6 from 4:30-5 p.m. On Tuesday, an intermediate ballet class will be held for ages 11-14 from 4-5 p.m. and an advanced ballet class for ages 14-18 from 8-9 p.m. 849 Jackson St., Suite No. 1C. JaM Cellars presents Christopher Cross

On Thursday, Oct. 19, five-time Grammy winner Christopher Cross is playing at the Uptown Theatre. Doors at 7 p.m. and music at 8 p.m. The singer-songwriter and guitarist kicked off his career with a self-titled debut album in 1979 and became a hit artist of the ’80s. Flashback Friday at The Yard

Feast It Forward presents Flashback Friday at The Yard on Friday, Oct. 20. The event is hosted by Sneak-E Pete and will feature Bay Area guests, including Donovan Hall (DJ Don Gordo). DJs will spin modern remixes and originals, as well as disco, funk, hip-hop and R&B favorites, 6-9 p.m. at 1031 McKinstry St., Napa.

di Rosa Day: Halloween Haunt

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art is hosting one of its biannual di Rosa Day festivals. The Halloween-themed event features a haunted house, hay bale maze, children’s costume contest, photo booth, trick-or-treating, seasonal art activities and food trucks. Explore di Rosa’s newest exhibitions, including “Ghost in the Machine.” Tickets are $45 for general admission, $30 for members, $10 for ages 3-20, and include two drinks for those 21 and up, at 5200 Sonoma Highway, Napa.

‘Pollyanna Valley’ museum exhibit

The Napa Valley Museum Yountville’s “Pollyanna Valley” exhibition opens Saturday, Oct. 21, running through Feb. 25. The exhibit tells the story of the 1960 Disney film “Pollyanna,” starring Hayley Mills, which was filmed in Napa and Sonoma counties. Discover Walt Disney’s use of St. Helena, Calistoga, Santa Rosa and Petaluma to represent the plot’s idyllic turn-of-the-century town. Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information at napavalleymuseum.org.
