A wildland fire on a peninsula of Lake Berryessa burned about 19 acres Saturday. The blaze was reported around 12:50 p.m.

Firefighters from Cal Fire and the Napa County Fire Department accessed the blaze by boat from the Pleasure Cove Marina and built fire lines from there, while helicopters and air tankers responded from the sky.

It was 40 percent contained as of 5 p.m., and firefighters continued battling the so-called Pleasure Fire Saturday evening, though the bulk of firefighters had been released, Cal Fire officials said.

Two crews and one engine were staying overnight to watch the fire, officials said. They expected to have the blaze fully contained by Sunday.
