Breakfast lovers around the country can give their wallets a break today as Denny's once again offers its Grand Slam breakfast for free.
On Super Bowl Sunday, the chain promised customers its signature dish of pancakes, sausage, bacon and eggs to anyone from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
While last year's promotion prompted long lines of people at Sonoma County locations, there were no lines early Tuesday at the Steele Lane spot and the manager says they're more prepared for this year's freebie. In the first hour of the event, 161 free plates were handed out at his location.
