At Lincoln, Neb., Josh Santerre pitched into the eighth inning and Manhattan parlayed five hits and four San Francisco errors into a win in an elimination game. Manhattan scored three times without a hit in the first inning.
The Dons (39-23) committed three errors and USF starter Jason Dufloth (2-2) hit a batter as the Jaspers took the lead, and Nick Derba's two-run single in the second made it 5-1.
Manhatten later was eliminated in a 10-4 loss to Miami.
Fresno State's Kent Sakamoto homered twice and drove in six runs as the second-seeded Bulldogs eliminated third-seed San Diego, 9-8, in the Fullertton Regional .
Beamer Weems hit a three-run home run in the third inning to help rally Baylor to a 7-2 win over Arizona State. The Bears will meet Rice in the Houston Regional championship game today.
Missouri's Aaron Crow allowed one run on six hits as Missouri avoided elimination with a 4-1 victory against top-seeded Pepperdine, setting up a rematch for the Malibu Regional championship today. The Tigers eliminated UCLA with a 2-1 victory.
