Moving day arrives for Press Democrat’s news team

The newspaper, which has been based at its 427 Mendocino Ave. address since 1930 is moving to new headquarters on B Street, a block away.|

Some of The Press Democrat’s newsroom staff gather Friday for a sendoff to the newspaper’s longtime downtown Santa Rosa headquarters at 427 Mendocino Ave. The newspaper, which traces its start back to 1857 in Sonoma County, has been based at the Mendocino Avenue address since 1930. You’ll see us soon at our new headquarters at 416 B St., just a block away.
