The rider of a motorcycle killed in a Memorial Day weekend crash was Timothy Neely, 68, of Santa Rosa.
The Sonoma County Coroner's Office released Neely's name Tuesday. He died Saturday after crashing off Westside Road near Healdsburg.
At about 6 p.m., Neely was speeding on the rural roadway when he drove off of a curve north of Hozz Road, according to a CHP report.
His Harley-Davidson headed into a creekbed, and he was thrown into the water.
Neely, who the CHP said had been wearing a helmet, was declared dead at the scene.
