A stunning San Francisco Bay Area home that was custom built for Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry hit the market Wednesday for $8.9 million with nearly every amenity one could hope to find in a property.

The 8,163-square-foot home — located at 1060 Livorna Road in Alamo — features a $500,000 projection and sound system in the home theater. Outside, another $250,000 was pumped into a vegetable garden with raised beds, fruit trees and irrigation, according to Compass real estate, which holds the listing.

The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate sits on 1.35 acres.

“Opulent yet contemporary expression born from a (Steven) Kubitschek design, master builder,” the listing states.

Curry’s wife Ayesha, an author, chef and entrpreneur, helped hand-pick most of the finishes and fixtures in the home, most of them imported from Spain and Italy, according to a Compass representative. The home also features four garages with space for seven cars, a detached gym, billiards room and separate guest wing and children’s wing.

The cost to build, landscape and furnish the home, completed in 2018, was $6.4 million, according to Compass.

Other features of the grand property include:

▪ 30-foot ceilings

▪ Floor-to-ceiling glass

▪ Double-sided fireplace

▪ Heated Italian wood floors

▪ Dual island chef’s kitchen with European-style cabinetry.

▪ Beautifully appointed primary suite with 1,160 square-foot private terrace

The rear yard has ample, landscaped space with pool, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, a covered patio with heaters, cabana and swinging lounge sofas.

Listing agent Bonnie King of Compass is optimistic that the home will sell quickly.

“The average days on market in Alamos luxury market went from 109 in the previous 12 months to 26 in the current 12 months,” she said in an emailed statement. “That is some very positive news.”

Stephen, Ayesha and their three children lived at the estate from April 2018 to September 2019, before selling the property when the team moved from its home in Oakland to San Francisco’s new arena. The commute was no longer ideal, the Compass representative said.

The seller is a chief executive at an investment company who knew Curry personally. The executive bought the home from him in 2019 in an off-market deal, according to Compass, but he put it on the market because he is moving to Florida.

The estate is owned by U.S.-based Aeon LLC, according to Property Shark records.
