Windsor mobile home fire displaces three
A Windsor mobile home fire displaced three people on Wednesday, Sonoma County Fire reported.
The fire at Evergreen Mobile Home Park on the northwest end of town was reported around 4 p.m. and contained within 25 minutes, Battalion Chief Mike Elson said. It caused “extensive damage,” but no injuries, he said.
The three who were displaced by the fire are being housed by the Sonoma County Red Cross, he said. The fire did not spread or cause smoke damage to other mobile homes in the park.
“The fire crews were able to get on it pretty quickly and keep it contained to the one mobile home, which was remarkable,” Elson said.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation Wednesday evening, he said.
