Sonoma County's largest non-profits
Sonoma County is home to 2,332 registered nonprofit agencies that generate approximately $1.9 billion in revenue, according to the Open Data for Nonprofit Research Project spearheaded by Prof. Jesse Lecy at the University of Syracuse, using the most recent tax forms available. With the help of more than 50,000 volunteers, they provide human services, health care and education while also supporting arts and culture. The following are the largest incorporated nonprofits in the county, listed in order of their annual revenue. Kaiser-Permanente and Sutter Medical Center are not included because their parent organizations are located outside Sonoma County.
