Dr. Mary Sturgeon and Venus Gonzalez have joined the Petaluma Health Center.

Dr. Sturgeon is a dentist. She previously worked as the clinical research coordinator in the College of Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before receiving her doctorate of medicine in dentistry, she worked as a registered dental hygienist.

Gonzalez is a nurse practitioner. She previously worked as a resident nurse practitioner at Santa Rosa Community Health Center and a nurse at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in Sonoma County. She also worked as a public health educator in Santa Clara County.


Dr. Adrienne Silver is the new director of medical education at the Santa Rosa Medical Center of Kaiser Permanente. In 2008, she joined Kaiser Permanente’s Pediatrics Department in Santa Rosa. She earlier worked as chief of pediatrics in a multidisciplinary clinic in Denver for the same health care organization.


Paige Mazzoni has been appointed CEO at Canine Companions for Independence in Santa Rosa. She has more than 25 years of experience in corporate strategy and management, strategic initiative development and marketing implementation. She most recently worked as chief marketing officer at VIP Petcare.


Tom Stark is the newest member of the residential mortgage team of Santa Rosa-based Exchange Bank. He joined the mortgage industry in 1992 and most recently worked eight years as a loan consultant and sales manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Earlier, he worked for Prospect Mortgage, The Cal Bay Mortgage Group, North American Mortgage Company and IMCO Realty Services.


NorCal Dermatology will move its medical offices effective Oct. 1 to 196 Wikiup Drive, Santa Rosa.
