A man armed with a knife robbed a Rohnert Park gas station Tuesday morning, police reported.
The robbery occurred about 10 a.m. at the Valero station on Southwest Boulevard.
The man held up the clerk, stole $288 in cash and fled on foot. The clerk wasn't injured.
Police set up a perimeter around the area, but as of 4 p.m. the suspect had not been apprehended, Lt. Jeff Taylor said.
He was described as a white male in his 30s, six feet tall with a thin build, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt that covered the bottom of his face.
