A Napa area crash involving an overturned vehicle shut down Highway 121 for nearly three hours Tuesday, the CHP said.

Initial CHP reports indicated a pregnant woman was injured in the 9 a.m. crash near Wooden Valley Road on the rural highway connecting east Napa Valley to the Lake Berryessa area.

Details on the crash weren’t available but the initial reports said the vehicle rolled 150 yards down an embankment and overturned. Several drivers apparently stopped to help.

Both lanes were closed for the emergency response and for the vehicle to be hauled up to the roadway. The highway reopened just before noon.
