The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition has announced the sweepstakes winners of the 2017 judging, after receiving nearly 7,000 entries from 28 states across the country.

Of the six top Sweepstakes awards, five of the winning wines came from Sonoma County. Here are the Sweepstake Award winners:

— Sparkling Sweepstake winner: Korbel, 2013 Brut Natural Methode Champenoise, Russian River Valley ($15.99)

— White Sweepstake winners: Hanna, 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, Russian River Valley ($20.99); and Castello di Amorosa, 2015 Gewurztraminer, Anderson Valley ($25).

— Pink Sweepstake winner: Trentadue, 2015 Rosato di Sangiovese Estate, Alexander Valley ($20)

— Red Sweepstake winner: Tonti Family Wines, 2013 Old Vine Zinfandel Artisan Series, Russian River Valley ($60)

— Dessert/Special Sweepstake winner: Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurants, NV Ice Wine, Vidal Blanc, American, IL ($27.99)

There was also a Label Competition Sweeptakes winner: Tolosa 2015 Primera, Edna Valley ($120)

The judging was held at Cloverdale’s Citrus Fairgrounds this week, with 62 judges swirling, sniffing and sipping the entries over the course of four days.

There will be a public tasting from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Festival Pavilion in the Fort Mason Center. Tickets are $70 in advance, $95 at the door.
