A man struck and killed early Saturday by at least two vehicles while standing in the middle of River Road has been identified as a 29-year-old Sebastopol resident.

Sonoma County Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Crum said Anthony Colwell, was killed shortly after 4 a.m.

The CHP did not respond Sunday to numerous calls about the incident.

Colwell was struck by a Honda Accord and a semi-truck, according to CHP dispatch logs. A third driver said he had to swerve to avoid running over the body.
