Three teens shot at San Jose community center

SAN JOSE - Three teenagers were shot and injured Halloween night at the Seven Trees Community Center, according to police.

The three teens each suffered “at least one gunshot wound” and were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, San Jose police said.

The shooting was reported at about 10:28 p.m. at the Seven Trees Community Center at 3590 Cas Drive in San Jose, according to Sgt. Enrique Garcia. Police said an unknown suspect approached the teens, “words were exchanged” and then shots were fired at the victims.

San Jose police did not specify if there was an event taking place at the community center, or if the teens were outside the facility.

Police have not identified any suspects in the shooting.
