A single-vehicle crash early Sunday in Rohnert Park that injured a passenger was caused by driving under the influence, according to the CHP.

A 1999 Ford truck weaving in and out of its lane on southbound Highway 101 near Golf Course Drive about 12:45 a.m. Sunday swerved off the road and rolled over, a CHP news release said.

Inside the truck were driver Jacob Wandrey and passenger Daochanh Sonekeo, both 20, of Santa Rosa. Sonekeo was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major but not life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, CHP Officer Jon Sloat did not know if she had been released.

Both Wandrey and Sonekeo were wearing seat belts, he said.

Wandrey was driving on a suspended license for previous DUI convictions, the news release said.

He was taken to Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury, driving while suspended, violation of probation and failure to provide insurance.
