Klay Thompson scored like never before in leading a fundraising effort to benefit North Bay fire relief.

Thompson, the Warriors’ All-Star guard, pledged to donate $1,000 for each point he scored in Golden State’s three-game homestand last week. He then challenged others to join in the “Points With Purpose” campaign and to date the total has raised in excess of $350,000.

More than 1,300 people and many commercial entities chipped in to help Thompson’s campaign top its initial monetary goal of $250,000.

Among the contributors:

Thompson, who scored 69 points in the three home games, rounded up his contribution to $75,000.

Anta, Thompson’s shoe partner, matched his donation.

Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford joined the campaign by pledging $100 for every point Thompson scored.

Many of Thompson’s other business partners, including Opus Bank, Rastaclat, Wheels Up and the Bay Area New Group, contributed support.
